Ayalum Njanum Thammil is a typical LAL JOSE movie which mainly revolves around two characters, Dr.Samuel, played by veteran Actor Prathap Pothan and Dr.Ravi Tharakan portrayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The plot seems to be simple and relevant one, told in a bit complicated but convincing way.

Well, the story line of the film is all about highly positive relationship between Dr.Samuel and Dr.Ravi.Dr.Samuel is running a Hospital in a High Range Town in Kerala-Tamil Nadu Border. He strongly believes that doctors are those special ones who can really turn around human lives. His motive behind running such an hospital in a hilly area is very much genuine and he is less concerned about the monitory attractions from that hospital. Dr.Ravi who joins Samuel’s hospital as a Junior Doctor, is a bit lazy and irresponsible guy who took long seven years to complete his MBBS Course. He is a typical representation of young generation who wants to enjoy their life like anything.

Prathap Pothan as Dr.Samuel is the major attraction of Ayalum Njanum Thammil. He has been outstanding throughout the film and no other can replace him. His body Language, dialogue rendering, everything has been perfect as Dr.Samuel. Prithviraj is also brilliant in the film as Dr.Ravi Tharakan. This can surely be said as one of his career best performances. Salim Kumar, Remya Nambeeshan, Kalabhavan Mani and Samvritha Sunil also have done their part well. Narein also did a fair job even if he doesn’t have too much scenes to perform. Opening Sequences of all Lal Jose films are brilliant, whether it be Meesha Madhavan, Classmates, Achan Urangatha Veedu, Arabi Kadha or anyone, Lal Jose takes his audience perfectly to the mood film through the initial scenes itself. The same is the case with Ayalum Njanum Thammil. Legend Ouseppachan once again proved that how fantastic he is in making melodies.3 tracks in the film are outstanding and really suits the feel of the movie.

Coming on to the negative sides of the film, Bobby-Sanjay’s Script is an OKAY one, but cannot be said as a brilliant stuff. Script lags little bit in the second half, where the director also loses his control over the screenplay. Jomon’s cinematography was outstanding in capturing the beauty of Munnar, but the ‘color grading’ completely washed out the originality of shots.

As a whole Lal Jose’s Ayalum Njanum Thammil is a watchable flick. Get in to the theater with your family, and enjoy.

After the Mega Hit movie ‘Diamond Necklace’, Lal Jose is back with another flick with Prithviraj and Narain in Lead Roles. Prithivaraj-Lal Jose-Narain combo is very popular for their evergreen blockbuster ‘Classmates’ and that factor itself is making ’Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ one of the most anticipated films of this year.

Bobby-Sanjay duo is writing the script for Lal Jose this time. This is their first association with Lal Jose. The story has been set up in a Medical College and it revolves around two doctors, one a committed senior doctor and the second one, his irresponsible junior doctor. Veteran Actor Prathap Pothen, after 22 Female Kottayam, is playing another lead role in the film. Samvritha Sunil, Remya Nembeeshan, Rima Kallingal and Swasika are playing female key roles. Lal Jose films are always rich with excellent music, and for Ayalum Njanum Thammil, the director is joining hands with Ouseppachan-the Legendary Music Director of Malayalam, for the first time. Ouseppachan will compose six songs for the film, which will be penned by Vayalar Sharath. New Generation Cinematographer Jomon T John is behind the camera this time or Lal Jose and Ranjan Abraham is the man on editing table.

Ayalum Njanum Thammil is in post production stage right now and the film is expected to get released in October 2012.
